Celebrating 15 Years: Groundbreaking & Community Giveback
Wilcox Academy of Early Learning Centers proudly commemorates its 15-year anniversary with a special day of celebration, community engagement, and continued investment in the future of early childhood education.
On Friday, July 30 at 10:00 AM, Wilcox Academy will host a press conference to officially kick off the anniversary celebration. The event will feature remarks from community leaders, dignitaries, and partnering organizations, along with a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wilcox Academy Central City location and scholarship presentations.
Immediately following the press conference, families are invited to participate in a Back-to-School Backpack and School Supply Giveaway for students in Pre-K through 3rd grade, taking place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

All events will be held at the new Central City site. Pre-registration is required for attendance, and health and safety protocols, including mask requirements, will be observed.
Since its founding in 2006, Wilcox Academy has served more than 1,000 children across the Greater New Orleans area. With a commitment to equity and access, approximately 65-70% of enrolled students come from low-income families, reflecting the organization’s dedication to serving communities with the greatest need.
