Welcome New Families

At Wilcox Academy of Early Learning, we are honored to welcome your child into a community rooted in care, growth, and opportunity. From the very beginning, our goal is to partner with families to nurture confident learners and strong foundations for the future.

We invite you to explore our programs, get to know our approach, and take the first step toward joining the WAEL community.

Things to Know

  • Children must be between 2 months and 5 years old to enroll in our year-round program.

  • Children ages 5 to 8 are invited to participate in our summer programs.

  • Applications are accepted year-round.

  • Our academic year begins in July and continues year-round.

  • Enrollment is ongoing and space is limited by availability.

Wilcox Academy of Early Learning admits children of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, and provides equal access to all rights, programs, and activities made available to students.

How to Enroll at Wilcox Academy

A simple step-by-step guide for families ready to join our community.

  • 1. Join the Waitlist

    Take time to explore our locations, learn about our approach, and find the best fit for your family. When you’re ready, submit a waitlist application for your preferred location.

    Enrollment is based on availability, and joining the waitlist is the first step in securing a spot.

  • 2. Schedule a Tour

    Once you’ve applied to our waitlist, contact us to schedule a tour of your selected location.

    During your visit, you will meet with the Center Director, learn more about our programs and daily routines, share information about your child and family, and have the opportunity to ask questions and explore the environment.

  • 3. Apply to Enroll

    Following your visit, families must complete the enrollment application, pay the application fee, and submit all required documentation for review.

    All materials must be submitted at least one week prior to your child’s proposed start date.

  • 4. Get Accepted

    Once all information is reviewed, our team will determine placement based on availability and program fit.

    Families will receive an official acceptance notification along with an enrollment agreement outlining the next steps in the process.

  • 5. Officially Enroll

    To finalize enrollment, families must sign and return the enrollment agreement and submit any remaining required documents along with the registration fee.

    After these steps are completed, your child’s seat will be officially reserved.
