Celebrating Growth: WAEL’s 2025 Moving Up Ceremony
Wilcox Academy of Early Learning proudly celebrated our 2025 Moving Up Ceremony, honoring the growth, achievements, and next steps of our young learners as they transition into their next stage of early education.
From their first days in circle time to confidently crossing the stage with proud smiles, our students have made meaningful strides in learning, confidence, and independence. This milestone reflects not only their individual growth, but also the care, encouragement, and dedication of the families and educators who have supported them every step of the way.
We were honored to welcome New Orleans Councilmember Lesli Harris, who joined families, staff, and students in celebrating this important occasion. Her presence and words of encouragement underscored the value of early childhood education and the role of community investment in shaping strong futures for our children.
The Moving Up Ceremony remains a cherished Wilcox Academy tradition—one that celebrates progress, honors achievement, and looks ahead with excitement for what comes next.
To our families, thank you for trusting us with your most precious gifts. We are proud of our learners and remain committed to walking alongside them as they continue to grow, learn, and lead.
Congratulations to all of our students on this exciting achievement.
