Honoring the Life & Legacy of Saundra J. Reed
With deep sorrow and profound respect, WilReachOne Foundation announces the passing of our beloved Board Chair, Saundra J. Reed. She was a visionary leader, dedicated advocate, and guiding force for children, families, and communities across New Orleans.
Affectionately known as “Mama Saundra,” she led with compassion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to community. Her life’s work was rooted in love and service, and her influence continues to live on throughout Central City and beyond. She had a rare gift for making every person feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
A public celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Christian Unity Baptist Church (1700 Conti St., New Orleans, LA 70116).
